In the last few days alone, five motorcycles have been reported stolen in Växjö, which is a marked increase.
So far this year, nine motorcycle thefts in Växjö municipality have been reported to the police.
This can be compared with last year when eight motorcycles were reported stolen throughout the year.
Nermin Imamovic took his motorcycle driver's license on Tuesday and got rid of his motorcycle the night before Thursday.
It was parked in a garage in central Växjö.
