A man in his 20s with cuts to his neck and arms, among other things, was found at 03:00, the night before Saturday, on a country road just north of Borås.
- It is probably a motorist who has found him there.
We do not really know exactly what happened.
He was probably injured by some sharp object, says police officer on duty Göran Carlbom.
The man was taken to hospital and the police describe his condition as stable.
- He was not very cooperative.
It is possible that he has ridden a car and then been dropped off or thrown out, says Göran Carlbom.
The police are investigating the incident as an attempted murder.
No one was suspected or arrested at 05:00 in the morning.
