  On the same day, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced that in order to strengthen the epidemic prevention barriers in hospitals and public medical facilities, and protect the public using public medical services, especially the elderly and chronically ill patients who are at high risk of severe illness and death after infection, the public is further encouraged to be vaccinated. For the new crown vaccine, from June 13, the designated medical premises under the Food and Health Bureau, the Department of Health and the Hospital Authority will implement the "vaccine passport" arrangement in an administrative manner.

The arrangement will allow people who have not yet been vaccinated to obtain generally needed medical services after obtaining a negative nucleic acid test result at the medical premises to which the "vaccine pass" applies, and the "vaccine pass" is also not applicable to medical premises providing emergency or urgent services.
