On the same day, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced that in order to strengthen the epidemic prevention barriers in hospitals and public medical facilities, and protect the public using public medical services, especially the elderly and chronically ill patients who are at high risk of severe illness and death after infection, the public is further encouraged to be vaccinated.
