In a video with Volynsky, which is at the disposal of RIA Novosti, he answered in the affirmative to the question about the presence of foreigners on the territory of Azovstal.

“There are foreigners in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he said.

The Ukrainian commander added that he had no information about high-ranking officials and curators among them.

On May 17, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed a video of the surrender of Ukrainian nationalists who were blocked at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol.

Later, the department announced the complete liberation of the territory of the plant.

In total, 2,439 Ukrainian military and Azov militants laid down their arms and surrendered.
