President Yoon Seok-yeol and US President Joe Biden held a joint press conference after the Korea-US summit at the Presidential Office in Yongsan, Seoul on the 21st. 



President Yoon Seok-yeol first said in his remarks that the ROK and the United States would make diplomatic efforts to preserve peace on the Korean Peninsula and to bring about dialogue between North Korea and North Korea.



US President Joe Biden also emphasized the importance of the ROK-US alliance, saying, "The ROK-U.S. alliance is getting closer than ever, and the people of both countries are getting closer."



He also promised humanitarian aid to North Korea, where the current COVID-19 situation is worsening.



"Aside from political and military issues, I am willing to provide active support from the perspective of humanitarian and human rights," Yoon said.
