Vorontsova only moved from Holland to Moscow after the MH17 passenger plane was shot down by a Russian Buk missile over the Donbass in 2014. Researchers have been able to prove that her sister Tikhonova commuted between Moscow and Munich for years.
Zelensky – whom his compatriot, the conductor Vladimir Jurowski, noted, had always deliberately kept out of politics – is said to have privately spoken out against the war in Ukraine.
