China News Service, May 20. According to Taiwan's "Central News Agency", the son of Taiwanese artist Wu Zongxian, Lu Xipai (real name Wu Ruixuan), was seized by the police for possession of marijuana cigarettes. The lawsuit was suspended for one year and paid NT$100,000.

The case was rejected by the High Procuratorate on the 19th and reconsidered.

Prosecutors investigated that singer Lu Xipai went to a nightclub in Xinyi District on December 25 last year for consumption. In the early morning of December 26, he walked out of the store to chat with his first acquaintance. During the period, the other party asked him to smoke, and then left Lu Xipai alone.

Unexpectedly, when the police in the jurisdiction were patrolling on foot, they smelled a strong smell of marijuana on Lu Xipai's body. The investigation will be transferred to the Taipei District Prosecutor's Office for investigation in accordance with the Drug Hazard Prevention Act.

Prosecutors sent Luxipai's urine for testing, which was negative for cannabis metabolites.

Prosecutors believe that even if the defendant confesses to the crime, there is no evidence to convict him of second-degree drug use and will not prosecute.

However, for the possession of marijuana cigarettes, the prosecutor found that Lu Xipai was involved in the second-level drug crime under the Drug Harm Prevention Regulations, considering that Lu Xipai had no previous drug convictions, had a good attitude after the crime, and expressed deep remorse, etc. Deferred prosecution for a period of 1 year, and pay NT$100,000 within 6 months from the date of the determination of the deferred prosecution.

Prosecutors applied to Taiwan's High Prosecutor's Office for reconsideration according to their powers.
