According to the police, the incident must have occurred in Norwegian Numedal just before 09 o'clock on Friday morning, according to Dagbladet.
At present, three people are said to be injured, one of them seriously.
The police have classified the case as ongoing deadly violence, the authority writes on Twitter and further states that an intensive operation has been underway at the site during the morning.
At 09.46, the police announced on Twitter that they have control over what they believe is the perpetrator, which VG has reported on.
