A man was given a six-month suspended prison sentence by the court in Quimper (Finistère) on Thursday.
He was found guilty of sexually touching a 16-year-old girl, reports

The facts took place in 2020 on the occasion of a wedding.
The teenager was present as a babysitter.
“I thought it was my wife who was in bed”
When the children she was babysitting fell asleep, the mother of the family invited her to go to bed in a room in the bungalow.
But in the middle of the night, the husband lay down behind her and touched.
She pushed him away once and he ran away.
But he came back to his room again.
During the hearing, the defendant affirmed that he was very alcoholic during the facts.
"I thought it was my wife who was in the bed," he said.
But alcohol cannot be a reason, according to the prosecutor.
The name of the father of the family has been entered in the file of perpetrators of sexual or violent offenses (Fijais).
