At the same time, more than half of the respondents (59%) say that it is necessary to have a children's and youth movement in Russia.

As noted in the study, men are slightly more likely than women to vote for the re-creation of pioneers and consider the idea of ​​creating a children's and adolescent patriotic movement important.

The largest number of supporters of the revival of pioneers is among the parents of children under the age of 14.

"65% of parents say that their children need a youth organization in the


image and likeness of the pioneers," the study states.

Earlier, a group of deputies and senators submitted to the State Duma a bill on the creation of the Russian movement of children and youth "Big Change".

The bill was submitted to the State Duma on May 19 - the day of the 100th anniversary of the pioneer organization.

At the same time, the press secretary of the President, Dmitry Peskov, stressed that Russia does not intend to revive the pioneers.
