In Lithuania, vandals smashed a memorial plaque at the Soviet military cemetery

This is reported by TASS with reference to the police department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lithuania.

“It was noticed that in the village of Filitsiyanavas, at the entrance to the Soviet military cemetery, a marble commemorative plaque was removed and broken from a concrete base,” the report says.

The police launched an investigation into the incident.

Earlier in Lithuania, vandals desecrated a monument to Soviet soldiers with a swastika.
