A former football player from the Vitesse Arnhem club (Netherlands) lost his life in dramatic circumstances on May 12.

Mourad Lamabatte, 31, was on vacation with his wife and two children on the Malgrats Islands, in Majorca (Spain).

He wanted to jump from a cliff, more than 22 meters high.

But he hit some rocks and disappeared into the water, reports CNews.

The scene took place under the eyes of his wife who was filming the jump and broadcasting it live on social networks.

The body of Mourad Lamabatte was found by the rescue services, 15 meters deep.
