The responsible driver fled the scene after the accident.

“According to witnesses, a green Renault Clio 2 phase 1 or 2 vehicle was stopped on the emergency lane with the warnings”, explains the police in their call for witnesses relayed on Twitter.

But the car “had left the scene before help arrived”.

Any witnesses or persons in possession of information on the accident are invited to “contact the Cergy road accident and offenses brigade on 01 79 42 26 70 or the Cergy police station on 01 34 43 17 17”.
