“Talking about Russia’s allegedly blocking the export of Ukrainian grain in the Black Sea ports and the resulting deficit in the grain market is nothing more than speculation,” she told RIA Novosti.

The diplomat recalled that the blame lies solely with Kyiv, as Ukrainian troops mined their seaports.

“The Russian side constantly opens humanitarian passages in the sea,” Zakharova added.

The Kremlin previously noted that before opening Ukrainian ports, including for the export of grain, they need to be cleared of mines, since the danger to shipping remains.
