The incident occurred in the Inner Harbor, at Packhusgatan / Packhusallén, at 2 p.m.
The girl is said to have been on her way home from school when she was beaten by a teenage boy.
According to information, it was a larger gang that harassed the girl and one person dealt a blow so that the ten-year-old began to bleed.
- The girl went to a patrol that was on Stora torget and they could then drive her home to the mother, says police spokesman Lars Hedelin.
