It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“Last year, despite the global decline in food supplies to international markets, Russia became the largest grain exporter.

We shipped 30 million tons to 100 countries of the world, most of all to Turkey, Egypt, and the countries of South Asia.

We remain a reliable supplier in the current conditions.

In March-April, we increased wheat exports to neutral countries and even to those that imposed sanctions on us,” Reshetnikov said.

Earlier, US Permanent Representative to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield spoke about discussions on the export of Ukrainian grain through safe corridors in the Black Sea.

In turn, the Kremlin recalled that before opening Ukrainian ports, including for the export of grain, they need to be cleared of mines, since the danger to shipping remains.
