On Thursday there was a shooting at a German school in the northern city of Bremerhaven, during which one person was injured, police said.
One person was taken into custody
after the shooting while the wounded man was taken to hospital, they said.
The German newspaper
Bild
reports that a second suspect has fled, armed with a crossbow.
The police, for their part, reported that they were investigating whether there was more than one person involved.
The shooting took place at Lloyd College, Bild reported.
The Nord24 newspaper said that a student who had heard gunshots had called the police.
Students barricaded themselves in their classrooms, she added.
