The gendarmes of the Aube have made an important decision after an investigation of several months.
On Friday, they arrested three people suspected of drug trafficking in the agglomeration of Troyes and in part of the department, reports France 3 Grand Est.
The investigations, carried out by the gendarmes of the research section of Reims (Marne) and the research brigade of Rosières-près-Troyes, began in August 2021.
On remand
Judicial information was then opened in the Troyes court at the end of January.
This Friday, the investigation therefore reached a milestone.
Two suspects were arrested in the street in Troyes and a third at his home.
During a search, the gendarmes got their hands on 60 kg of cannabis, 4 kg of heroin, cocaine and sachets of ecstasy.
But also a semi-automatic pistol and 10,000 euros in cash.
At the end of their police custody, the three suspects were indicted and remanded in custody.
