While the number of users of railways and buses is decreasing due to the influence of the new Corona, the LDP Parliamentary Union has set up a council when there is a request from Prime Minister Kishida that it is difficult to maintain the route from businesses and local governments. We asked the government to take the initiative in discussing solutions.

On the 19th, the Liberal Democratic Party Parliamentary Union, which is considering the ideal form of public transportation, visited the Prime Minister's Office and submitted recommendations to Prime Minister Kishida.

It states that if there is a request from a business operator or a local government along the railway line that it is difficult to maintain a line such as a railroad or a bus, the national government should host a council to discuss a solution.

On top of that, he urges the government to take the initiative in providing support through budgetary measures and tax incentives when necessary.

In response, Prime Minister Kishida responded, "This is a very important issue and I would like to tackle it firmly."
