Three Russian soldiers have so far been charged with war crimes in Ukraine and also admitted the acts.

The first to be brought to justice is a 21-year-old soldier who admitted to shooting a 62-year-old civilian unarmed man.

- As the first of its kind and also so early in an ongoing conflict, it is unusual in itself.

But for Ukraine and the incredible atrocities we have seen here, it is of great symbolic significance.

But also in practice, to skip justice in this as quickly as possible, says SVT's correspondent Carl Fridh Kleberg.
