Jordan.. Restricting Prince Hamzah's communications, residence and movements

The Jordanian Royal Court announced that a royal decree was issued approving the recommendation of the Council formed under the Royal Family Law to restrict Prince Hamzah's communications, residence and movements, which was submitted by the Council by King Abdullah II since the 23rd of last January.

Jordanian King Abdullah II issued a statement regarding his brother, Prince Hamzah, in which he affirmed that the latter chose to defame Jordan as a way to gain popularity and provoke feelings and display.

And that Prince Hamzah continues in his quest to create unrest and ignite crises, as he tried to impose friction on the royal guards on the morning of Eid al-Fitr.

King Abdullah stressed that Hamza's actions are a clear violation of his position as a prince and transgressed the norms and traditions respected by all members of our family, and if Hamza's irresponsible behavior is repeated, it will be dealt with.
