and France 3. The facts allegedly took place on Saturday in Cholet during of the L'Hélico event, devoted to propeller-driven machines.

The agents had come to carry out an unannounced check on working conditions and compliance with regulations as part of an operation to combat fraud.

Deeming their visit inappropriate, these officials were allegedly insulted and threatened by the mayor of Cholet.

He would also have asked the municipal police to verify the authorizations of the said control.

Requested by our colleagues, the Cholet prosecutor's office confirmed that an investigation for obstruction of control, outrages and acts of intimidation had been opened.
