This week, free short-term parking begins in selected parking spaces around Eskilstuna center. These are short parking times, some are 15 minutes while others are 30 minutes. - We hope and believe that they will stop and carry out short-term matters so that smaller companies can get additional sales, says Sarita Hotti, (S), chairman of the city planning committee.
Last year, a similar attempt was made, but then the parking time was two hours.
- That result did not give what was hoped for, the cars lasted longer than two hours and the throughput did not turn out as intended, says Sarita Hotti, (S).
The trial is temporary and is valid until 30 September.
