The investigations initially carried out for "search for the causes of death" finally turned to a murder.

Two young men aged 23 and 24, residing in Hérouville-Saint-Clair, at the gates of Caen, were indicted yesterday for murder and failure to assist a person in danger, announced the public prosecutor of Caen, Amelie Cladiere.

The first was placed in pre-trial detention, the second under judicial supervision.

Given the nature of the blows, the qualification of voluntary homicide was retained against him.

On the night of Thursday to last Friday, Jean-Philippe Autain was found in serious condition in front of his building, unconscious.
