Agents of the Department Against Cybercrime of the Central Operative Unit of the Civil Guard, once the facts that gave rise to said complaint were corroborated, gave immediate priority to this investigation given the possibility that it was not a unique case and that it affected many more. minors, as is usual in this type of crime and even more so in the case of minors of such a young age.

Throughout the investigation, it has been verified that

, having recorded more than 3,000 accesses to these games in a period of two years.

During this time, the detainee forged a prolonged friendship with his potential victims, always through deception and abuse of superiority, paying them virtual gifts available on gaming platforms;

gifts that carried with them the request by the detainee to make video calls with the minors, so that they would show him their private parts and other similar types of actions.

In this way, it has been proven by the agents that the detainee was able to consummate the sexual abuse with 26 minors,

and residing in different parts of the national territory, not ruling out the possibility of detecting more victims.

More than 2000 files with content of a sexual nature with minors

Analyzing the material seized from the detainee, it has been confirmed that he accumulated both on his mobile devices and in the cloud, more than 2000 files of child pornography, confirming in the same way the making of 81 payments to game user accounts belonging to minors. .

Once they agreed to pose nude before the camera, the detainee captured the screen of his mobile device, storing the sexual images of the minors.

The parents of the minors identified so far, were the first surprised to be informed by the Civil Guard of the events that occurred when they identified their children in the photographs that were shown to them, several of them assuring that their children never played without supervision of adults.

Investigators have also been able to determine that this pedophile not only satisfied his needs through online gaming platforms, but also offered himself as a sports monitor, camp teacher and English teacher among other activities related to minors, with no evidence of no hiring in that sense.

However, the agents have been able to verify the existence of a case of physical sexual abuse of a minor, whom he met and deceived on a nudist beach, places frequented by the detainee quite regularly, in view of the material that has been intervened.
