If the fears presented in Dagens Nyheter are true, it is a long time before the traffic chaos in Gothenburg is over.
It is the major suppliers AGN in Haga and WLC at Korsvägen who warn of major delays.
And of course there can be delays, admits the Swedish Transport Administration's project manager - but not so big.
- We are one to one and a half years late based on the contract schedule we wrote in 2018. And we disagree about the reason for the delay.
As a result, we also disagree about the future, says Bo Larsson.
But what is written on the signs, that it is ready in 2026, can we forget?
- Let's return to that when we have regulated the history.
We have full production in all places along the line and many of the parts will be ready by 2026. But we have an increased uncertainty connected to Haga-Korsvägen, due to the late start of production - which was not according to plan.
What was it due to?
- It's about everything from adding resources to our suppliers and planning how to carry out the work.
Did you encounter unexpected problems as well?
- Yes, in what is connected to working tunnel 210, from Linnéplatsen down to the main tunnel under Hagakyrkan, we have had an increased leakage, which has meant that we have had to inject more to seal the tunnel.
It has taken much longer than planned, but it is regulated and replaced, says Bo Larsson.
More reasons
But suppliers point to a number of things that they believe are causing further delays.
Bo Larsson counters that they must take responsibility for their tenders.
- They must be able to point out and describe the consequences of changes.
Our view is that at present they have not been able to deliver a document that shows that conditions have changed.
The debt issue and the division of responsibilities must be sorted out.
If you do not succeed in doing it on your own, there is always the possibility of going to court.
- Our ambition is that we will find a way forward and solve this.
But in complicated cases, we may need the help of a court to sort out the division of responsibilities, says Bo Larsson.

Her apartment is located directly above the building and the sounds from there have affected her life more than she could ever have imagined.
