They are suspected of having committed, in a few months, a hundred burglaries.

, 14 people were arrested on Wednesday by Paris territorial security investigators and placed in police custody.
Among them are ten minors, and a man who was already in detention.
The latter was taken from his cell to be heard by the police.
The police suspect them of being involved in around a hundred break-ins committed mainly in the center of the capital but also in the Hauts-de-Seine, between March 2021 and March 2022. The modus operandi was almost always the same: the criminals acted in trio and favored accommodation with wooden doors, which were easier to force open.
Suspects from the 18th arrondissement
In an apartment, the investigators found the fingerprints of a 17-year-old young man already known to their services.
They then discreetly watched him and gradually tracked down his alleged accomplices, almost all of whom lived in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.
This Wednesday, the police arrested 13 suspects at their homes.
Another suspect, who was already in prison, was taken from his cell to be questioned.
The investigation is continuing in order to determine in particular whether other people were involved in these thefts.
