The Sweden Democrats were present and voted for the Social Democrats' proposal for a free summer holiday ticket for Blekinge's young people in the traffic committee.

But when the decision was to be made in the regional council, the party swung and made its own proposal - that the bus card would cost 300 kroner.

Divided opposition 

With a divided opposition, the free ticket was voted down and instead won the Alliance's proposal that the summer holiday ticket should instead cost SEK 739.

The fact that the Sweden Democrats turned the issue around is criticized by the Social Democrats, who believe that the 3.5 million the proposal would have cost would have been a good investment.
