Parts of the engineering company from the Göta Engineering Regiment in Eksjö are in Poland to participate in the international exercise.
The exercise is about practicing transport from central Europe into the Baltics.
The part of the exercise in which the Swedish defense is involved also includes the United States, Poland and France.
How has the changed security situation affected the exercise?
- Not really at all.
Except that there is a certain seriousness in everything you do.
These are always serious things we do and we always practice for sharp tasks, says Lieutenant Colonel Peder Hertzberg.
Built a bridge together
For the conscripts from Eksjö, this is the final exercise for their basic military training.
- We have tried to build a long bridge of 180 or 200 meters and a ferry together.
It has been very fun to see that it has worked, says Anna Crommert who is a soldier from Ing 2.
