In particular, restrictions are being imposed on Dmitry Kiselyov, CEO of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, Alexei Nikolov, CEO of RT, and Sergei Brilev, journalist and host of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK).

Also on the sanctions lists were Acting Head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Alexander Chupriyan, First Deputy Director of the FSB Sergei Korolev and First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Nikolai Bogdanovsky.

In addition, restrictions were imposed on the Russian private military company Wagner.

Earlier, the Australian authorities imposed sanctions on 147 citizens of the Russian Federation.
