This is a newly released video at the Congressional Hearing on UFOs.

[Scott Bray / Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence: It cannot be concluded that this is not a man-made phenomenon.

Many cases can be said to be unexplained.]

The US military uses the term UAP, unidentified flying phenomenon instead of UFO and unidentified flying object, and US military officials disclosed that so far, 400 UAP reports have been received.

[Look at that.

It 's spinning.]

[Ryan Graves/Reserve Navy Pilot: Judging from the characteristics of the vehicle or the revealed speed, there is no form or energy source that can float in the air in such a state.]

A U.S. military official said that the unidentified flight phenomenon is related to extraterrestrial life. He testified that there was still no evidence that it was done.

[Scott Bray/Deputy Director, Naval Intelligence: No material evidence has been found that the origin is not from Earth.]

However, lawmakers continued to point out that the unidentified flight phenomenon could pose a threat to US national security.

[Andre Carlson/Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee: Because UAP (Unidentified Flight Phenomenon) is a real threat to national security, the Intelligence Committee has an obligation to investigate.]

This hearing was held in 1966 by former President Ford of the House of Representatives. It was held again in more than 50 years after personally leading the hearings on the impact of UFOs on national security.
