Rep. Park Wan-joo was expelled from the Democratic Party for sexual assault allegations.

However, a report came to SBS that a former member of Parliament Park, who was a local aide, sexually assaulted an intern.

As a result of the confirmation, the Democrats did not discipline the perpetrators even though they concluded that 'sexual violence is right'.

SBS decided to report the contents of the coverage with the consent of the victims.

is a sexual harassment case report prepared by the Democratic Party Special Committee on Gender Violence in May 2018, obtained by SBS.

Investigation was conducted with the report of Mr. A, who worked as an intern at Rep. Park Wan-joo's regional office.

Person A claimed that she was sexually harassed by Mr. B, who worked as an aide in Park's regional office twice in 2016 and 2017.

After conducting its own investigation, the Democratic Party concluded that "it constitutes sexual harassment."

"The sudden hug made me feel sexual discomfort and discomfort," and pointed out that "it is an emotional, linguistic, and environmental human rights violation that occurred in a sexist and socially structured environment, such as having to call myself brother."

As a result, the Democratic Party said, "We have decided to impose severe punishment, including disqualification of candidates, if secondary harm is found, such as by accessing, contacting, or requesting a settlement by the relevant people."

Mr. A said that Mr. B, who was nominated for the city council election in June of that year, was inappropriate and wanted to resign.

Afterwards, Mr. A asked the Special Committee on Gender Violence Countermeasures for a reconsideration, but he said that he only received an answer to find out.

In the end, the nomination for Mr. B was not cancelled, and Mr. B, who was elected in the local election, will run for re-election this time.

Mr. B countered, "At that time, we had not been informed of the party's decision, and the sexual harassment case was not prosecuted by the prosecution due to insufficient evidence."
