This was reported by a TASS correspondent from a ceremony that took place in the administration building of the capital of the Lugansk People's Republic.

The agreement was signed by the head of Lugansk, Manolis Pilavov, and the mayor of Nizhny Tagil, Vladislav Pinaev, who arrived in the LPR.

“We are industrial centers, our foundation is our industrial enterprises.

That is, God himself ordered us to unite today,” Pinaev said.

Pilavov, in turn, noted that it is necessary first of all to take a step in the cultural direction.

“In August, Nizhny Tagil will celebrate its 300th anniversary and we will think about how to make sure that our artists can personally congratulate our brothers on such an anniversary,” he said.

It is specified that this document became the first full-time agreement on twinning, which was signed by the administration of Luhansk since 2014.

Earlier, the choreographer of the Eteri Tutberidze group, Alexei Zheleznyakov, announced the holding of charity master classes in figure skating in Donetsk and Luhansk.
