In order to popularize the Individual Number Card, the government plans to give 7500 yen worth of points when registering the card as a health insurance card, and 7500 yen worth of points when registering a "public money receiving account" to receive benefits from the government.



At a press conference, Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Kaneko announced that he would start accepting points from the 30th of next month.



Efforts to get points for up to 5,000 yen when you get a card started in January, and you will be given points for up to 20,000 yen in total.



Applications will be accepted by the end of February next year, but it is necessary to apply for card acquisition by the end of September.



The government aims to distribute the cards to almost all the people by March next year, but according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, about 56.11 million cards were issued as of the 15th, and the issuance rate is more than 44%. about it.



Minister Kaneko said, "We would like to reduce the burden on the applicants, make them aware of their safety, and work with local governments to further promote their dissemination."
