Three police officers from the Créteil police station (Val-de-Marne) will appear in June before the criminal court for having written a false report after the arrest of a 20-year-old young man at his home in February 2019.

The individual was suspected of drug trafficking and rebellion.

The report that one of the police officers wrote but that the three signed indicates that he was arrested outside while the agents entered the home, without forcing the front door left ajar.

Thanks to the video of the arrest filmed by the young man's sister, "we have proof that the reports are false, these facts must be brought before the court", confided a judicial source, adding that "it is a question of trust and loyalty on which the investigation is based".

Procedural defect

During the hearing in immediate appearance, a few days after the facts, the young man's lawyer had presented the video to the court and obtained the cancellation of the procedure, the images showing the officials entering the apartment without being there. guests, at more than 9 p.m., i.e. beyond the hours of searches.

After the cancellation for procedural flaw, the lawyer filed a complaint with the Créteil prosecutor's office.

The three peacekeepers will be tried on June 9 for "home invasion by a person holding public authority" and for "forgery in public writing", an offense that becomes a crime when committed by police officers.
