The court also fined the ex-colonel 500 million rubles.
In June 2019, the court sentenced Zakharchenko to 13 years in prison and a fine of 117 million rubles.
He was also stripped of his rank.
On one of the charges he was acquitted.
Later, the Moscow City Court reduced the 13-year term appointed by Zakharchenko to 12.5 years.
