Russian intelligence: Washington is recruiting terrorists from Syria to send them to Ukraine

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service revealed that the United States is recruiting militants from Syria, including ISIS terrorists, to participate in the battles in Ukraine.

Russian intelligence said that pro-US militants are being trained at the US Al-Tanf base in Syria to send them to Ukraine.

She noted that "in this terrorist gathering, up to 500 pro-US ISIS fighters and other extremists are trained at the same time."

"Priority is given to citizens of the Caucasus and Central Asian countries," she added.

Russian intelligence confirmed that "the extremist factions are mainly directed to carry out sabotage and terrorist acts against units of the Russian armed forces in Syria, and now also in Ukraine."
