Russia destroys US and European arms depots after arriving in Ukraine

The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that its missiles destroyed US and European arms shipments in the Lviv region of western Ukraine.

The daily statement of the Russian Defense Ministry on the conduct of the special military operation in Ukraine on its 83rd day stated that the long-range and high-precision “Kaliber” sea missiles destroyed US and European depots of foreign weapons and military equipment near the Starichi railway station in the Lviv region.

The statement added that high-precision ground-based and long-range missiles destroyed the reserves of Ukrainian forces on the territory of training centers in the Sumy region and Chernihiv region.

High-precision air missiles of the Russian Air Force hit two command posts and a communications center, including the 30th mechanized brigade in the Bakhmut region, 28 military assembly areas and two depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Russian Defense Ministry indicated that "more than 470 extremist militants have been eliminated, and 68 units of military equipment have been disabled."

It added: "A power substation was destroyed near the Meriva railway station in the Kharkiv region, which was delivering weapons and military equipment from the United States and Western countries to target Donbass."

"Russian aviation and Russian forces struck 9 Ukrainian command centers and 93 military gathering areas, in addition to 3 ammunition depots in the Mykolaiv region," the statement continued.

The Russian statement said: “The missile and artillery forces hit 6 command posts, 224 military assembly areas and military equipment centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 12 artillery and mortar batteries, 4 BM-21 Grad batteries and two radar stations.”
