“In view of the expiration of payment terms in the coming days, Eni has begun the procedure for opening two accounts with Gazprombank - one in euros, the other in rubles,” TASS quoted the message as saying.

At the same time, Eni said that they do not support changes to existing contracts. 

Earlier, Bloomberg wrote that Eni is ready to fulfill the requirements of Russia and open a bank account in rubles.
