Finland's parliament approves NATO membership by majority vote

On May 15, the Finnish government made a formal decision to apply to join NATO.

Also, the Minister of State Property and Relations of Finland with the EU, Tytti Tuppurainen, said that the Finnish authorities are ready for "all sorts of unpleasant measures" from Russia because of the country's plans to join NATO.
