Borrell: Finland, Sweden's bid to join NATO will be supported by all EU member states

　　Borrell, the EU's high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, said on the 17th local time that Finland and Sweden's application to join NATO will receive strong support from all EU member states.

Borrell made the remarks to the media before the meeting of EU defense ministers on the same day.

　　Borrell said he had noticed Turkey's opposition to the two countries' accession to NATO, and he hoped that NATO would eventually resolve the issue, but at the EU level, Finland and Sweden would be supported.
