As in his inauguration ceremony, President Yoon Seok-yeol wore a blue tie symbolizing the Democratic Party and entered the main assembly hall of the National Assembly.

When President Yun, who had climbed the podium, bowed his head, lawmakers from the ruling and opposition parties rose from their seats and responded with applause.

Democratic lawmakers who listened to President Yoon's speech also applauded in passages such as 'Compensation for losses is the natural duty of a state governed by law'.

He also sent an integrated message, including writing three times of 'bipartisan cooperation', which was not in his inaugural address.

After a 14-minute speech, which received 18 rounds of applause, President Yoon toured the plenary hall and shook hands with members of the Democratic Party and Justice Party.

When President Yoon greeted former Justice Minister Park Beom-gye, applause came from both the ruling and opposition parties.

As he left the National Assembly, President Yoon expressed his feelings, saying, "I hope today's speech will be a page in the development of parliamentaryism."

The People's Power evaluated that "President Yoon showed the meaning of respect for the National Assembly" and gave strength to 'a call for bipartisan cooperation', while the Democratic Party said, "If President Yoon truly pursues cooperation, he is a minister candidate who wants to force the appointment. They have to resign.”

President Yoon requested all of the People's Power lawmakers to attend the ceremony to commemorate the 5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement, and floor leader Kwon Seong-dong replied, "May 18 does not belong to a specific political party" and that all lawmakers would attend.
