US spokesman NATO new member "confident that an agreement can be reached"
White House spokesman Jean-Pierre told reporters that Turkey, one of its member states, has shown a negative attitude towards the move towards accession of Scandinavian Sweden and Finland to NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).
