In this regard, we express our readiness to ensure the security of the borders of the zone of responsibility of the Collective Security Treaty Organization,” the document says.

During the summit of leaders of the CSTO countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed granting the Commonwealth of Independent States observer status with the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

The Russian leader also said that a whole series of joint CSTO exercises is planned for the fall of 2022, and their number will increase.
