The commander of the DPR brigade Khodakovsky announced negotiations with a group of people who left Azovstal

According to him, "a lively stage of negotiations is underway," RIA Novosti reports. 

Khodakovsky stated that it was established that a group of representatives of Ukrainian troops came out with a white flag to "represent the interests of a larger group that continues to be at Azovstal."

He added that the outcome of the talks is still unknown.

Earlier, Khodakovsky said that ten Ukrainian soldiers from the Azovstal plant in Mariupol had surrendered to the forces of the Donetsk People's Republic.
