Putin promised to inform colleagues in the CSTO about the progress of the special operation in Ukraine

It is reported by RIA Novosti. 

“As for the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, we will certainly discuss this.

I will inform you in detail about what this is connected with, how this combat work is going on, ”Putin said at the beginning of the meeting.

The Russian leader noted that the discussion will be held behind closed doors. 

Also during the summit, Putin proposed to grant the CIS observer status with the CSTO.
