A meeting of the Liberal Democratic Party's Party Reform Execution Headquarters was held, and as a guideline for organizational governance, we approved the outline plan that included the establishment of a "governance committee" with outside experts and the implementation of compliance training for members of the Diet. ..

The Liberal Democratic Party is aiming to formulate a "Governance Code" that will guide organizational governance as part of party reforms, taking into account issues such as "politics and money". A meeting of the Reform Implementation Headquarters was held and the outline was approved.

In the outline plan, in order to thoroughly enforce political ethics, a new "Governance Committee" will be established under the secretary-general with outside experts to verify the party management and propose improvements.

It also stipulates that compliance training will be provided to members of the Diet, and that members who have doubts about political funding will be given a polite explanation.

Based on this outline, the Execution Headquarters will proceed with the preparation of detailed contents of the guidelines, and hopes to formally decide by the end of this month.
