“I believe that now it is simply vital in the conditions when the West has declared a hybrid war on Russia in all directions.
People who have already shown themselves to be foreign agents carry out their activities for a certain benefit, usually receive money from Western intelligence agencies or funds that work to destabilize inside Russia, ”the lawyer said.
Unable to inflict damage on Russia from the outside, foreign agents are trying to "shatter" the situation from the inside, Yarmush said.
“This is akin to the actions of terrorists... This is a direct order from Western intelligence services in order to attack the Russian Federation... Now we need to protect the interests and sovereignty of Russia,” the expert concluded.
Earlier, the State Duma proposed to amend Part 2 of Art.
207.3 of the Criminal Code of Russia and toughen the punishment for foreign agents for disinformation about the military.
