Gana Gueye (32) was not absent for medical reasons but "for personal reasons", explained coach Mauricio Pochettino, specifying that his player "was not injured".
Last season, the Senegalese also did not play the match of the day when L1 teams wear the rainbow, recalled RMC.
Contacted by AFP, neither the Professional Football League (LFP) nor PSG reacted to the controversy.
