The Swedish Championships week is arranged by the Swedish Sports Confederation together with Swedish Television and the current host city.
It is a large event both in terms of visitors and practitioners where everything from aquabike, skipping rope cross karting and swimming are currently shared on the program.
- It would bring very positive for Karlstad if we got the event here, says Frida Pettersson (C), municipal councilor and chairman of the municipality's growth committee in a press release.
Message in November
Costs for arranging the Swedish Championships week are estimated at eight million kronor.
No later than 15 November, the Swedish Sports Confederation will announce whether Karlstad will receive the event.
